in my country the price to watch a movie (no popcorn, or other extras) exploded and never really came back down.

its kind of cool and all but it isnt worth it to pay more than 100 bucks between me and my partner, when we have a tv and piracy at the comfort of our own home.

south america. we don't spend in dollars, but we also don't earn in dollars so its probably just as expensive as you are thinking.

ill be fair: there are cheaper alternatives but they are further away and inconvenient. ill note though that before the pandemic we had tickets for 25-30 bucks and even less.
