Dullsters
Inspired by the Dull Men’s Club.
1. Relevant commentary on your own dull life. Posts should be about your own dull, lived experience. This is our most important rule. Direct questions, random thoughts, comment baiting, advice seeking, many uses of “discuss” rarely comply with this rule.
2. Original, Fresh, Meaningful Content.
3. Avoid repetitive topics.
4. This isn't an advice forum
Use a search engine, a tradesperson, Reddit, friends, a specialist Facebook group, apps, Wikipedia, an AI chat, a reverse image search etc. to answer simple questions or identify objects. Also see rule 1, “comment baiting”.
There are a number of content specific communities with subject matter experts who can help you.
Some other communities to consider before posting:
5. Keep it dull. If it puts us to sleep, it’s on the right track. Examples of likely not dull: jokes, gross stuff (including toes), politics, religion, royalty, illness or injury, killing things for fun, or promotional content. Feel free to post these elsewhere.
6. No hate speech, sexism, or bullying No sexism, hate speech, degrading or excessively foul language, or other harmful language. No othering or dehumanizing of anyone or negativity towards any gender identity.
7. Proofread before posting. Use good grammar and punctuation. Avoid useless phrases. Some examples: - starting a post with “So” - starting a post with pointless phrases, like “I hope this is allowed” or “this is my first post” Only share good quality, cropped images. Do not share screenshots of images; share the original image.

First of all, congrats on the new monitor.
I have an issue with cats shitting on my lawn, so i spent 30 seconds researching natural ways to keep the wee bastards at bay. Apparently they're not big fans of citrus, mint or lavender, so if you're able to keep something like that close to your monitor, you might avert a repeat tinkling.
Fair warning, mint causes my cat to pee on stuff.
My wife recently planted lavender at the front of our house to stop the cats who occasionally crapped there. In the week since, we've had probably four times as much...
This makes so much sense.
I made a lemon balm border around one of my garden beds to keep the squirels out (no one told me to, I had no evidence that it would do anything) and the alley cat who lives across the street moved in almost immediately. I had to replant my peppers and tomatoes 3 times because she kept stepping on/eating the seedlings. On the bright side squirels no longer go near that garden bed, wether it's because of my genius lemon balm border or the guard cat we accidentally made a deal with. She seems to use the bathroom right outside of the garden and likes to sleep under the plants so it works out all around.
Thanks!
This is the first time they have ever done this, so I am not too worried. On the rare occassion they mark, it is usually at ground level.
I have tried dried orange slices to protect my xmas tree, but they just knocked the fruit off and played with them haha. The only deterrent I have found with them is fake pine scent, which I hate as well, so I think I'll just keep my office door closed when I am not in it
Or maybe stop making your cats mad by leaving town u.u
Had a "Pee-Punisher" myself. They know exactly where it hurts the most..
