Brazilian novelas are full of cringe moments, but one in particular, "Força do Querer", had a "cosplayer" character (picture). "Daijobu, mom, daijobu!"
When you consider how these novelas are made (50+ yo writers that have no fucking clue about current trends, but want to talk about them to the similarly clueless audience), the cringe makes perfect sense
