To be fair, American automakers had already done that as well by making shoddy products.
Suggesting that American cars are more shoddy than British cars is preposterous.
Listen buddy, America makes the worst cars outside of Russia and I won't let you slander our decades of industrial cannibalism by pretending otherwise. Our corporate overlords have stolen too much value to be looked down on like this.
Yeah, when I think quality, I think of Dodge, not Rolls-Royce.
Chrysler isn't American anymore. Landrover's most reliable years were when they were owned by Ford.
I don't think that anyone ever accused Rolls Royce of being good, just expensive.
And catering to mostly right wingers anyways
