Yeah I think moisture management is gonna be the main issue here IMHO

It rains frequently in the area. I don't even know anyone who uses a dehumidifier.

I'll try letting more sunlight into the room.

I can second the recommendation for a dehumidifier. It's made a huge difference in preventing mould growth in my home.
