- Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
- No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning
We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.
All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

Correction: Powerful people win civil wars. You just know that pricks like Johnson won't be out there fighting; they'll stay in their comfortable mansions separated from the chaos by first-rate security details.
Politicians hide themselves away
they only started the war
Why should they go out to fight?
They leave that role to the poor

Those mansions have addresses. Corporal Molotov can bring the terror to their door.
Molotov was a diplomat (sort of).
And it's better to use an FPV drone with, I dunno, a canister of something good.

One thing about people without empathy is that they actually literally don't care about people who aren't them, dying. It's even worse when they are also believers in zero-sum theory, since then they also think they are better off when more people die.
It's not that they haven't thought about how many people will die, they are actually looking forward to it, it's the point.
Maybe, people get dragged through the streets in civil wars. Nobody is safe during a civil war, as much as you would like to think.
