it's the perfect city car. park it anywhere, drive it anywhere. nobody will steal it. nobody will try breaking into it.
the 800cc engine gives fantastic fuel economy. and its engine to body weight ratio makes it a proper beast in hilly regions.
this model was called the Maruti 800 in india (maruti tied up with suzuki here and the 800 refers to the engine displacement). its successor is the Maruti Alto (available in 800cc and 1000cc engine variants).
do look up the "King Alto" meme online to see how astonishingly well this design performs on the slippery slopes of the hinalayan foothills.
Yeah alto, cultus and Mehran are the 3 cars of this ilk
