(disclaimer: I'm a cis guy so take this with a grain of salt) Actually quite likely. Dating is hard for trans people because on one side there's a lot of bigotry/transphobia/... And on the other side trans people (especially trans women) have been fetishized, so I can imagine that the dating scene does not feel very safe. Combine this with the fact that other trans people tend to understand best what someone who's trans has lived through and it seems quite natural that trans people often date other trans people.
