Fifty-eight percent of U.S. adults are extremely or very proud to be Americans, the lowest in Gallup's 25-year trend.

I’ve been ashamed of my country since 2020. And I haven’t had a sense of pride since Bush Jr. And even before that, when I thought we were basically an ok actor, I still hated the state on principle.
