When people stop trying to enter the country at risk of jail or death, I’ll believe “America Bad”.

Once all of the decent people in America are overrun by fascists and their enablers and the stench of death and doom is unavoidable, nobody will want to enter this country.

We're well on our way toward that point already.

Many seeking asylum were coming for the promise of a stable federal government that operates under the rule of law (instead of working hand-in-glove with cartels) and that won't disappear their family members, torture, or murder them like they encountered in their home countries.

They were coming for the promise of America, a promise that has been broken, battered, and pissed on at this point.

What do you think they came here for? ICE raids and Alligator Alcatraz?

It all depends on what your viable options are. This guy has been in his seat for only a couple months. If it goes like this for the next three and a half years, it's not hard to imagine how it will end.
