Maybe an aborted entoloma?
PictureThis app said Entolomataceae, but it's not very reliable in my experience
Can you cut it open to see what it looks like inside? should have a tan/white marbled interior, if aborted
I will, but I want to monitor it for the next few days first. it hasn't really changed, except filling out the damaged brown spots since yesterday.
