Imgur for image upload? (reddthat.com)

I saw a reply to a post from 2 months ago that seems to indicate that imgur is used in voyagerapp for image attachments, but for me it always uploads to my home instance, which impacts its storage space.

Am I missing a setting to change that? Was that other post wrong about imgur being used?

edit: by “my home instance”, I mean reddthat.com, not a self-hosted one

Thank you! That clears things up, and apparently some other apps are just ignoring that policy, hence my confusion.

You're welcome! I think it is a fairly new TOS update that came when they purged the porn and anonymous uploads.
