Welcome to the discussion of US Politics!

Rules:

  1. Post only links to articles, Title must fairly describe link contents. If your title differs from the site’s, it should only be to add context or be more descriptive. Do not post entire articles in the body or in the comments.

Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.

Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
  3. No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Report them, block them, and live a happier life than they do. We see too many slapfights that boil down to "Mom! He's bugging me!" and "I'm not touching you!" Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
  4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
  5. No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

That's all the rules!

MODERATORS

Tucker Carlson did not ask Putin about how so many of his opponents wind up imprisoned and murdered, or the warrant the International Criminal Court has out for his arrest for war crimes in Ukraine.

You appear to live in a world of hyperbole, making assumptions about things you know nothing about. You are neck deep in red scare propaganda

And your entire comment history is nothing but mindless shitting on Biden and little else, so… from here, you seem neck deep in conservative propaganda.

In fact, you’re pretty much parroting their every talking point.

Because Republicans don't hide who they are, every segment of society knows exactly where they stand whith conservatives, whether you are black or gay or immigrant or Muslim, you know exactly where you stand with Republicans. Democrats are like a snake in the grass. They hide among you and are difficult to see until they're ready to strike. They co-opt the language of the marginalized give them a sense of inclusivity and then use them as tokens to remain in power. A wolf out in the open where we can see them is less dangerous than a snake hiding in the grass among us

Cool. So, your aim is to essentially complain about democrats because of things you seemingly make up and have been called out on countless times, ignore conservatives because apparently they get a pass as long as they’re honest about their corruption- and then at the end of it all… do and/or suggest nothing at all to make things better aside from hitching your wagon to a long-dead antisemite socialist leader.

Because by appearances, that’s what it looks like you’re doing. Your comment history is nothing but temper tantrums, snarky remarks, and essentially…

speaking a lot and saying nothing at all.

speaking a lot and saying nothing at all.

The irony... As you hitch your wagon to a right wing blue fascist.

Show your work.

i haven't seen them make anything up. and they're not giving conservatives a pass. i think they're saying democrats are conservatives too.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Which is a baseless opinion that is entirely made up.

[–] [email protected] 0 points 1 year ago (1 children)

oh, I thought conservatives were war hawks sucking corporate dick, or maybe they loved the country and called their political enemies traitors, or maybe they spread rusophobic hysteria, or identify as zionist...

Okay… I’ll entertain this bad faith excuse of yours to continue arguing if you feel it’s necessary:

If you honestly think democrats and conservatives are the same thing- then you’re clearly not paying attention to… well, anything that’s happening currently. And just to see that you’ve even made an attempt to illustrate half-baked bullshit opinions as an example of their similarities…..?

To be honest- this is FAR beyond my expertise to even begin to make you understand exactly how flawed your argument is. Like, this is… therapist-level intervention.

From the heart of my bottom, I implore you to get help.

And for the record, I’m blocking you. I don’t exercixe futility at this level.

your accusation of bad faith is, itself, bad faith
