France captured Moscow (in a pyrrhic victory...) in the Napoleonic wars.

It, eh, controlled it with the claim of supporting a legitimate monarchy, so whether it was captured can be disputed.
It was Finnish/Karelian/Estonian/Veps (can't remember which Finnic group specifically, but doesn't matter much) under Sweden.
So actually just let Finns remember Mannerheim.
