Deporting the useless and accepting the useful is a valid strategy for any government that is respecting its own people.

Here come the fascists...

Asylum isn't some fancy, it's to help people in need when we have plenty to share.

Maybe us Swiss could use more people with a heart instead of miserable and cruel bastards like you.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 1 year ago (2 children)

My parents were married when I was conceived, making me decidedly not a bastard. And the times when europe had 'plenty to share' are long over.

[–] [email protected] 12 points 1 year ago

Ummmm. Have you been around Europe lately?

There's a huge amount to share. It's astonishing really just how much money is here.

I feel the real gripe should be with the lack of taxation of the rich, resulting in the poor not having enough to share.

Those same rich are telling you that you don't have enough to share and to get angry at foreigners instead of themselves, misdirecting your anger.

Americans found it in their heart to have "plenty to share" to help Europe rebuild after the war even after being involved in the same war themselves. Most Europeans learned the moral lesson of that, but it seems you missed that memo.

The US in turn received major influence in europe and has since massively benefitted from that. We stand to gain nothing like that.

We stand to gain nothing like that.

I guess you missed the massive gains from years of colonialism and ongoing resource drain from these countries. Now that refugees demand asylum from the ongoing wars, climate crisis and economic disaster which we left them in, Europe has 'nothing more to give' according to you. Ego centric hypocrisy.

Guy should probably change name to ichbinfotze or something more appropriate

Why are asylum seekers useless? Do you think they all fled their countries because they had no skills? I'm pretty sure they fled because their lives were in danger.

Also, there is a big difference between an illegal immigrant and an asylum seeker.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 1 year ago (3 children)

You're the one generalizing. Some are useful, some are not. Sorting and processing them should be done efficiently, which is what the swiss are trying to do.

[–] [email protected] 7 points 1 year ago (1 children)

I'm not sure how "deport all Eritrean asylum seekers" is an efficient way to sort them unless you think they are all unskilled, which is what you sure implied.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago)

They're rejected asylum seekers. Now you may question the rejection criteria, but what do you do with people that don't meet your qualifications for entry, and can't be repatriated to their originating country because they won't accept them back without their consent?

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Sorting and processing them should be done efficiently

Like we 'processed' certain people during WW2? You seem like a disgusting neoliberal who got fat and cruel from all the accumulated wealth you probably 'worked very hard for'.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 year ago

That's quite a leap, but also about what I expected.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 year ago

Christ, you don't process asylum seekers based on skills. If you want to nab some rejected asylum seekers that way, sure, otherwise it's a humanitarian endeavour.

[–] [email protected] 16 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Which is why you should be deported immediately. I've heard Belarus will probably take you for a few hundred bucks. No need to deport you to a country you are actually citizen off, amirite?

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 year ago (1 children)

You know nothing about me, stop projecting

Richtiger Michi.

What do you call the strategy where you pretend to be neutral while making money off war, and stealing the gold and money from the victims of genocides?

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 year ago

Sound business?
