The best value PC is the Steam Deck. Period.
Why?
I mean pretty much all of the many different modern x86 handhelds deliver this.
Do you need it to be a handheld? Desktop PC? MiniPC?
Define "affordable"?
Because he wants to play higher resolution or fps? The deck is great but isn't a replacement for a gaming PC.
