Is the JAR5 Dominator Good (lemm.ee)

I’ve been using the Dominator for a while now and it’s definitely fun but I’m wondering if there’s more viable options. I’ve been eyeing the scorcher cus it looks cool and I’m thinking my potato aim will like that recoil better than the dominator sending my camera towards the heavens above with each shot

Also side note, anyone use the new plasma pistol yet, maybe I can knock out the senator as my only used secondary

I have the laser primary weapon (sickle I think) and it felt eh, not god awful but not a go to pick so as great as infinite ammo with it reloading passively (quasar cannon my beloved) the damage is why I avoided the dagger, but I might check it out

The scythe the continuous fire laser is pretty bad, it got a buff recently which makes it barely useable. The sickle the assault rifle laser is pretty good and quite satisfying to use.

The dagger got buffed in the big patch and works pretty well now rather than tickling everything.

The other energy weapons worth using is the blitzer shotgun but only on the bugs and the plasma shotgun which has so much stagger it's good for both.

Agree with all of this, but don’t overlook the Blitzer against bots! Great for mowing down berserkers, the shield dudes, everything up to hulks (and the Commando takes over at that point lol), and it’s designed for a run’n’gun playstyle! Lightning has auto-aim, so you can run and shoot multiple enemies down per shot reliably (even behind you), and it’s a one-shot on a good chunk of enemies :) not to mention true infinite ammo (unlike the lasers). Aim down the sights to extend your range a bit (surprisingly effective!). Lots to love! Also performed well against the Voteless

The dagger is really good against the jet brigade, as it will cause their Jetpack to explode with a light tap.

I used the continuous laser primary (blanking on the name) against them so it gave me a really good first impression just I didn’t realize it only did that to the jet brigade
