Historical Artifacts

Just a community for everyone to share artifacts, reconstructions, or replicas for the historically-inclined to admire!

Generally, an artifact should be 100+ years old, but this is a flexible requirement if you find something rare and suitably linked to an era of history, not a strict rule. Anything over 100 is fair game regardless of rarity.

Generally speaking, ruins should go to [email protected]

Illustrations of the past should go to [email protected]

Photos of the past should go to [email protected]

Tie your knickers up. The viking probably brought it back from his travels. This is not a sign that extreme muslim immigration to the nordics has always been the norm.

Don't know why that was your immediate reaction, but okay.

Because this is Lemmy, and I can read communist minds like they're an open book at size 22

You are reading like my nephew was at ~4 years old. Opened up a book demonstratively and started reading out loud what he'd imagine could be written in there. It's funnier when it's a 10cm thick brick of a book in an old leather casing and he reads how the kangaroo gifts his bunny friend a firetruck Lego set. You doing that same thing with a great replacement obsession is tragically pathetic.
