My father got himself a laser cutting machine for Christmas. He found the plans for this kit and cut it out. I've spent the last couple weeks slowly assembling/gluing it together. Today, it is finished.

I've had this cutting board for who-knows how many years. It came in a set of 3 sizes.

I just verified, and it's Birch, not balsa

Very clean and consistent for birch. A nice batch.

The burnt ends were a bit sticky. I'm working on cleaning some tar-y stains
