When I used rif, you could swipe a post and delete it from your screen. Sometimes I want to hide a post so I don't get triggered or pissed off each time I refresh my screen and see it there, mocking me ... I only see options to block user, community, instance. Y no block post?

I usually just block the user. Chances are they're not gonna be posting anything I wanna see.

On old boost downvoting a post would hide it, but I think that was a redd*t thing

Hold on a card to bring up the menu then tap hide. Might have to enable this in settings.

Edit, I misspoke. I was talking about the old "hide" feature from Reddit. It works a little different here, and you can mark posts as being "read" or you can have Boost track and automatically hide them. The various settings are in the general settings panel.

I'm sorry, I misspoke and I'm going to edit my original comment.

The terminology here is "mark as read" and you'll find the various settings in the general settings panel.

You can have it automatically hide things you've "read" and manually by doing the hold-and-tap.

I thought I was hiding posts, turns out I've got mark as read as a button enabled!

As I have hide read enabled, it hides them so well that I forgot this was even a workaround! :)
