The new assault rifle needs either a bigger magazine or medium armour penetration, although it is very easy to swing to new targets it lacks stopping power.
I closed multiple today. You just gotta get the impact grenade right in the hole.

I think it's because of the impact it hits the back of the hole and has a flame burst.
Tries multiple times I had to switch back to regular grenades
Hunh. I used impact as default and have the arc dialed in to the point I can strafe and toss with a better than even accuracy, so it's definitely not the grenade type. Maybe the velocity flattens the arc?
The SMG is pretty good with bugs too, as well as the booster.
Nice I'll have to check it out. I used the regular incendiary for a while until I switched to the stun grenade. I love the idea of burning the hell out of swarms of bugs.
The new Purifier in the warbond looks like a mini-railgun. I haven't tried it yet, but I'm guessing it'll be good for a few weeks.
The CEO of Arrowhead was all over shitter talking about how the balance team has gone too far and that they're gonna stop nerfing the fun out of the game.

I tried the crossbow in one bug match and got my ass handed to me. So I was shocked to see it nerfed afterwards. Do you use it regularly? Any tips?
I've only seen one video singing its praises and it basically boils down do learn how to range it properly. The best use I saw for it was using it like a mortar, or triggering bug breaches very far from the group to make sure the timer is on cooldown for future fights. I won't be diving with it any time soon though.
I don't use it and have no tips because of skill issues. It would be fun to have the entire team use it and see how far it can go.
And yes, I am that one person who brings a flame thrower to a bot planet because I thought it was funny.
I heard someone recently say it's a good anti-medium unit weapon? So like the railgun maybe? I dunno
This happens in all videgames now. Just have to rush the new weapons and get two weeks of use out of them before they nerf and you go back to the old meta.
Speaking of nerfing. Has anyone noticed the quasar damage being lowered or am I just doing it wrong? I've noticed it takes more about to kill the bile titan with it the past couple of games. Took like four shots to the face before it died where I used to be able to hit two shots and it would be down.
I think I read that it takes 2 shots when it's not spitting, but 4 shots of it's spitting. Not sure if that's what you're seeing or if there was an actual change.
