Alright, fossilesque, this not a fucking meme. 90% of what you post isn't either, but this is bullshit. Post science memes here. Post SCIENTIFIC STUDIES somewhere else.

Fuck!

Edit: This isn't reddit. I am allowed to play & experiment with my sense of humor. If you don't want to be like reddit, stop putting arbitrary walls on things. Play and humor are integral to learning. Be creative, it will make Lemmy shine.

You're funny af bro. You do you.

That being said, the man's not wrong in this particular case.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 10 months ago* (last edited 10 months ago) (2 children)

Nah I'm good thanks. I completely disagree. But Lemmy has room for more communities. If this person doesn't like what's being posted here. This community isn't for them and that's perfectly OK. I'm going to continue to try something new.

I'll just run on over to the Seinfeld community and start posting things about The IT Crowd and if they don't like what's being posted there then that community isn't for them and that's perfectly OK.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 10 months ago

And that mod can do what they want with you. That isn't your community.

And I support you doing so, you could literally post anything and I would upvote it (please don't take that as a challenge).

But it's still not a meme. Anyway, I think the other guy was kinda joking around, at least I hope they are not genuinely upset by this 😬

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meme

I disagree. I believe this is a funny remix of an old trope. The word meme is quite flexible. People do not have to agree with me, that is the nature of the Fediverse.

Ah, I see what you mean. In that case, you are technically correct. The best kind of correct.

To assess penis size dissatisfaction, respondents were asked to indicate their overall level of dissatisfaction with the size of their penis

I'm so not answering that I think my dick is small under any circumstances

[–] [email protected] 18 points 10 months ago (1 children)

This + confounding factors + a garbage can regression + a not so random small sample -> their findings are rubbish.

Which is the same issue with many physcology and political survey-based studies. Take a survey that was horribly implemented, run some lightweight analysis (cause what can you really do with 20 respondents anyways), slap a funny name on it, and boom another piece of terrible research.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 9 months ago

Yeah, I'd actually say that's a legitimately huge flaw with this study.

[–] [email protected] 16 points 10 months ago (1 children)

I love science, this was an interesting read thanks.

[–] [email protected] 9 points 10 months ago

Science is for sharing. ;)

[–] [email protected] 13 points 10 months ago (1 children)

I’m glad someone did this study, even if it’s not going to change my use of the slur against rabid gun owners.

[–] [email protected] 9 points 10 months ago (1 children)

More like bb owners amirite

[–] [email protected] 5 points 10 months ago

As long as you’re not Armalite!

[–] [email protected] 12 points 10 months ago (1 children)

Now do big trucks and cars modified to be extra loud!

[–] [email protected] 10 points 10 months ago

They found out that those people are psychopaths.

[–] [email protected] 9 points 10 months ago* (last edited 10 months ago)

tl;dr

We find that men who are more dissatisfied with the size of their penises are less likely to personally own guns across outcomes

[–] [email protected] 6 points 10 months ago (2 children)

Lol, so not only smaller penises dont own more guns, but it is totally the inverse. So there IS a correlation, but its the opposite of what everybody think, bigger size = more likely to own gun. Science will always amaze me!

[–] [email protected] 4 points 10 months ago

Or they found one group is less likely to lie when self reporting.

They should have had people dropping trousers for science!

[–] [email protected] 3 points 10 months ago* (last edited 10 months ago)

Satisfaction == larger

Could be something like dillusion or confidence that relates the penis satisfaction and the fun ownership.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 10 months ago

Ok.

Now do rolling coal RAMs with gun racks.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 9 months ago

skims article

Buys gun to make pp bigger

[–] [email protected] 1 points 10 months ago

Somebody PLEASE post this in [email protected]. I would but I've been banned for winning an argument against a mod.
