Everyone who gives weapons to Israel (or money to buy weapons) did this. I finally got angry enough to write Biden a letter, but who knows if he actually read it or not (probably not, but I did get a reply). It didn't seem to help much. All the protests aren't helping much. What can the people do to stop the govenment's support of Israel?

Nothing except convince another ME nation to convincingly offer allying with the US so they don't need Israel anymore.

In the meantime, efforts to thwart or protest the Harris campaign work against your ends and reduce their willingness to work with you if they do win. It sucks but that's your reality for now until January.

Here, I fixed the title for you: "Hamas still refuses to release hostages taken in unprovoked October 7 attack despite suffering of Gaza civilian population"

[-] [email protected] 50 points 11 months ago

Here's another title for you, "Israel forcefully exceeded the land given to them by UN from day 1 and has been killing children amd committing war crimes for 75 years."

Here's another one, "Israel has been forcefully occupying West Bank and other land area that are legally Palestine's from 1948 the same year Israel was created".

[-] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

All of that is factually incorrect, the Palestinians never agreed to a state, so legally it was never theirs.

And all the surrounding Arab countries threw a tantrum fit as soon as Israel was created, tried to destroy it, and are now crying for losing the war they started.

Get your facts straight.

Take a map of the Israel given to the Jews by the UN in 1948 and compare it to the modern Israel then let's talk about who's factually incorrect.

[-] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

You know shit, stop getting headlines from your echo chamber and read something you didn't already decided to agree with before reading for a change

"Accuses me of living inside an eco chamber".

"Then links an article from a pro-Israeli propaganda outlet".

LOL.

The only one killing hostages, bombing water utilities, bombing schools, invading hospitals, and constantly changing the deal for peace is Israel.

[-] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

Completely ignoring the hostages? Well ok then.

[-] [email protected] 19 points 11 months ago

So if a small group from a certain population does something bad then everyone of that population, including kids, deserves to get sick and starve to death? Because if that's the case, i have bad news for you about every single human population in history :D By your logic, we should start killing all kids. It's totally justifiable, right?

Or did you mean to say if they're Arab then it makes it justifiable? Because brown people aren't real people?

[-] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

So, if a small group of terrorists decides to operate out of a civilian population to attack a sovereign nation they automatically get immunity for their action and get a free "get out of jail" card? By your logic everytime some niche group decides they don't get what they want (however absurd their demands are), all they have to do is arm themselves and operate from within a civilian population to automatically get support for their efforts, right?

Arab people aren't real people? Tell that to the 20% Arab civilans in Israel. You obviously know shit about this conflict.

[-] [email protected] 15 points 11 months ago

Do you think this justifies depriving millions of people of clean drinking water?

[-] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

You should ask Hamas why they are stealing the Palestinian people's aid to fight their illegal war

[-] [email protected] 2 points 11 months ago

Since you ignored the question I can only assume the answer is yes.

[-] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

There are humanitarian zones for the civilians with more than enough water.

The situation there is shitty, but to the blame of all the suffering on Israel alone is just plain wrong.

[-] [email protected] 2 points 11 months ago* (last edited 11 months ago)

Did you read the article? Among many other points:

Around 70% of all water and sanitation facilities in Gaza have been destroyed or damaged, the WASH Cluster, a United Nations-led group that coordinates humanitarian efforts for water, sanitation and hygiene, said on July 24, citing satellite analysis from the UN Satellite Centre.

And look at the headline. If there was "more than enough" generally, why would anyone do that?

The situation there is shitty, but to the blame of all the suffering on Israel alone is just plain wrong.

I didn't do that. It's just mainly their fault

[-] [email protected] 13 points 11 months ago

and that completely justifies any and all warcrimes against civilians? Even if they were doing the same to the other side it still wouldnt justify this.

[-] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

That justifies war, yes.

War sucks and people get killed. Now grow up.

[-] [email protected] 3 points 11 months ago* (last edited 11 months ago)

So killing and torturing civilians is ok in your book no matter what? Because that was what i have issue with in this matter.

[-] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

How did you reach this conclusion? Did I say that? Don't put words in my mouth.

[-] [email protected] 3 points 11 months ago* (last edited 11 months ago)

I said: "and that completely justifies any and all warcrimes against civilians?" and your response was: "That justifies war, yes. War sucks and people get killed. Now grow up."

So did you mean that warcrimes are inherently part of war and something that should just be accepted or what did you mean? Or did you mean it just shouldnt be discussed or be outraged about? Without further information there is very little to go on to get any other conclusions that are not in the line of what i asked.

Go back to troll class weirdo, you're bad at it.

[-] [email protected] 9 points 11 months ago

[-] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

Trump/Harris debate is September 10th and the MTV music awards moved to 9/11 as not to complete with the debate.
