Submit screenshots of all your *NIX desktops, themes, and nifty configurations, or submit anything else that will make ricers happy. Maybe a server running on an Amiga, or a Thinkpad signed by Bjarne Stroustrup? Show the world how pretty your computer can be!
I feel like you don't see a lot of vertical setups here so I wanted to share what I've done so far. I found having everything at the top was way too dense so I moved it to the side but added a second panel at the top in a different color (to go with the wallpaper) for the window buttons.

Vertical is without a doubt the best for reading and such.
Do you have only a single vertical monitor setup? or other monitors too as well?
Anyway, dope desktop and very nice wallpaper.
