It literally says each grain of rice,.
Which would be a poor but not completely unreasonable way to describe what happens when you squish a clump to split it into individual grains so the oil can cook it evenly instead of making an oily white rice ball that has a fried outer surface.
So you need rice that's dried out.
You soak it in water, to prevent it from drying out.
You rinse it to prevent clumping.
And you fry each grain seperately, cause it'll clump anyway.
This is how the robots take over. They're going to make us all busy frying individual rice grains.

Absurd, I am a regular human with regular human appetites.
Just curious do other humans like me eat more than 1 grain? Just seems greedy to not share with your queen.
We other humans usually eat 2-3 grains depending if the queen knows what's she's in the mood for.
It's king now, and most of the world is proudly independent.

I'd say, OP circled the one that was correct.
- The first and second points would have been correct if not in the wrong order.
- You don't use Basmati rice if you are making it specially for fried rice.
- Yes, you separate each grain of rice and fry them as evenly as possible.
- How? By declaring martial law in the Wok and beating down any clump formations until they surrender and go their separate ways, making it easier to fry them evenly by tossing them around.
