You: Hey, wanna come back to my place, and I'll show you my snake in my lap?

Her throws drink in your face

You: "In retrospect, I can see where that went wrong."

I remember we used to house a bunch of balls together, just when they were young and didn't mind as much. My favorite thing about them was any time you'd touch one and it would panic, they'd all tense up, so you ended up with this snake ball with 5 heads and 5 tails. I love them, they're adorable.

If you ever want to try and get over your fear, ball pythons are one of the best snakes for that. They’re silly chubby derp ropes.

Love cats. Like snakes pretty well. The thought of the kind of accident that could result from keeping both, because of one careless human mistake, makes me highly anxious.

I wouldn't keep both cats and rats at the same time, for the same reason. I just don't think I could shake that one off with an, "eh, that's nature."

These are a friend of a friend's snakes. I also wouldn't own other pets at same time as a snake.

Thank you! I mean, for easing my mind.

What kind of snek are they?

[–] Seleni@lemmy.world 4 points 2 months ago

Ball Pythons (unless you’re in Europe; they usually call them Royal Pythons).

A friend of mine raised snakes and raised bunnies to feed the snakes. I like the snakes, but I also like the bunnies.

[–] MedicPigBabySaver@lemmy.world 4 points 2 months ago

Both cute indeed.

[–] breakcore@lemmy.world 2 points 2 months ago (1 children)

Awe, I love them. They look so cozy all cuddled up in a puddle

[–] MedicPigBabySaver@lemmy.world 3 points 2 months ago

They seemed very content.

Well, not in the moment. I believe their poop can be messy and smelly. Luckily, none of them left me a gift.

[–] LowtierComputer@lemmy.world 1 points 2 months ago

That's good. If I remember correctly my old buddy's corn snakes were smelly, but I'm not certain. He had a lot of neat reptiles.
