According to court documents, Obua told a nurse that he drove 18 hours to Terre Haute and that there was a multi-million dollar money scam among a couple of doctors in the same office as the victim. The nurse told investigators that Obua made reference to the CEO who was shot and killed in New York City and stated that this situation was very similar.
