Arguments can be made over there being better adhesives for the sake of binding, but author needed a thing and super glue was there to provide. Keep the thing away from acetone and things should be fine, right?

That's the complete opposite of AI slop?
Wrong community. This project has nothing really to do with emerging technology and is, instead, a story on how you created something with a tool not fit for creating that something. I hope your wife liked it, but I guarantee you that it would have more meaning and emotional value had you used your own bio-intelligence instead of their artificial one.
It's not my personal project. And can you explain why an art project about an video game that someone did using modern technology in combination with a modern version of some cool retro technology would be off topic in /c/technology ?
