This community (now) exists as a pressure valve, a place to process through humor the often frustrating world of conservative politics. Above all, this is NOT the place for serious conservative support/viewpoints/arguments. There are other places on Lemmy for that if you desire it.

Parody With Purpose: This is a space for humorous takes on conservative politics. We welcome satire, but draw the line at content that promotes racism, sexism, homophobia, or other forms of bigotry.
Memes Over Manifestos: This community focuses on humor and parody, not serious political debate. There are plenty of spaces for earnest conservative discussion, this isn’t one of them.
Highlight Contradictions: Sometimes the best content points out inconsistencies and hypocrisies in conservative talking points. Creative commentary is encouraged.
Public Figures Fair Game: Politicians and pundits can be satirized, but no targeting of private individuals, doxxing, or harassment.
Children of public figures under the age of 14 are also off-limits, a 16 year old has enough free agency to break with or adopt their parents views. An 8 year old kid doesn't.
No News Zone: Memes only, news or other serious content should be sent to the nearest relevant comm. Meme's of current events, however, are encouraged.
Clear Satire: Make your satirical intent reasonably clear. We’re here to mock bad ideas, not accidentally spread them. If you're unsure how it will be taken, feel free to DM the mod team ahead of time or explicitly tag it as satire in the body.
A note on ChadMcTruth: Chad's content is 100% satire, but his work can sometimes be hard to tell, but if he posted it be assured, its satire.

For accuracy, the chart is old (2014) and references discretionary spending instead of mandatory which is where programs like SNAP (Food Stamps) generally fall
However, even accounting for all that properly, at the time of the meme, food stamps would have still been just 2% of the federal budget. Thus the spirit of the meme is still good.

I ask because I don't see where social security would fit at all, and I suspect that Medicare/Medicaid would be a larger portion than the 5% listed for health.

Most people don't realize it but in FY2024 the interest payments on our national debt exceeded the entire military budget.

Yeah, it's blatantly dishonest for OP's chart to be labeled "Federal Spending" when it doesn't include the majority of federal spending categories. Particularly when the goal is for the reader to point at the largest spending category, despite the chart not including the largest spending categories.

I believe food stamps are a subset of the US Department of Agriculture spending.

Social security and Medicare are considered mandatory spending. The chart above is presumably showing discretionary spending, which is a subset of the overall budget. I can't speak to it's accuracy beyond that.
If this community is going to continue to exist, memes like this may need to be reworded. The old community was a fount of bad faith and it's easy to respond to bad faith with more of the same but moving forward we probably need less call outs and more discussion, less finger pointing and more understanding.
Last week's mods didn't want that. Their goal seemed to be (and this is the best faith I can put on the situation) the representation of under represented viewpoints, i.e. conservative viewpoints. Unfortunately that resulted in an extremely useless echo chamber full of circle jerking, JAQing off, bootlicking, whataboutism, and sealioning.
I can't tell you how excited I am about these mods having their power taken away, but we can't replace them with the same divisive tactics and say anything has improved.

Oh, man, I was curious about how people would actually act on this community, but it seems I decided to not check on the one week it got from zero attention, to overflowing with bad behavior, and felt down!
