Resist: It's Time

We are still in this together, but "this" is going to be real different in the very near future. This demands a different kind of "we."

The French Resistance during Nazi occupation played important roles delivering downed Allied airmen back to safety, supplying military intelligence, and acts of sabotage.

The Underground Railroad is estimated to have brought 100,000 freedom seekers to safety between 1810 and 1850.

It's time.

Law enforcement officials are searching for a suspect after a Tesla dealership was damaged by gunshots in Salem, Oregon, on Wednesday.

This is not my favorite source article, but it does clear up something that's been getting passed around.

Yes, someone shot up a Tesla dealership in Salem, OR, a couple days ago. Yes, this is the same dealership that had one of its cars set ablaze on Jan 20, 2025.

However, this shooting is being conflated with a sticker that says "Kill Elon".

The "name tag" style sticker with "Kill Elon" inscribed on it was not at either Salem, OR, incident. That was a separate thing done by protesters in New York. That's why I chose this article to post, because it refers to that.

(For legal reasons, we cannot recommend this kind of action be undertaken, planned, threatened, encouraged, etc. Definitely do not do anything like this.)

Oh look, they go to X for some balanced commentary:

THIS is the result of Democrats and legacy media calling Elon Musk “HitIer.”

Now why on Earth would they do that?

Oh no, I certainly hope there are no copycats

Wait wait wait. Hold up:

“According to KGW8, police officials responded to the incident at the Tesla dealership on Mission Street Northwest in Salem at roughly 5 a.m. on Wednesday. Angela Hedrick, a Salem Police Department spokesperson, confirmed to the Salem Statesman Journal that police officers discovered that the Tesla dealership’s windows appeared to have been damaged by gunshots.”

So the shooter went to the dealership well outside of operating hours, and hit the front doors. No people were hurt or even around, and they’re treating this like a traditional American “shooting.” Only minor corporate property damage. Fuckin’ LOL.

How dare you not use your bullets to take innocent lives like a real ‘Murican? Think of mister Erlawnz prawferts!1! /s

corpo property is orders of magnitude more valuable than human lives to the US legal system.

“THIS NEEDS TO STOP,” Sortor added. “Authorities need to make a VERY clear example out of these criminals.”

No, this is the result of Elon doing a nazi salute and bulldozing our government agencies.

I haven't seen any legacy media willing to report on anything other than an awkward gesture. Where are these media outlets not afraid of the truth?

Someone shot up a local business in my town several years ago, in broad daylight, while people were working the front counter. Nobody was hurt, but it's never been solved.

I'm surprised I haven't seen any reports on the crazy number of c. trucks that have been vandaIized/sh0t up/destryed. I guess they're trying to suppress copy cats. But I feel like I see a new one every day on other social media.

[–] noxypaws@pawb.social 3 points 1 month ago

That graffiti on the side elevates the aesthetics of the truck so much

There’s one in my neighborhood and I think way to much about the things I’d want to do to it

Thanks for explaining the source. Wish more people, on this platform especially, would think about doing the same.
