Is Trump going to bother coming to Canada, I am sure if he came to Canada it would not be a fun time for him. He will send JD anytime an US presence is required elsewhere in the world. I will still sign the petition but I do not think Trump has any desire to leave the US.

Am I the only one thinking if I sign these petitions which ask for all of my personal details, that there's a chance it could come back to bite me when the database inevitably gets hacked or forced open if something extreme occurs between our countries?

The government already has those details

The US government doesn't have my details saying I agree with a petition though.

If an enemy nation has your details at all I would worry

This is my point

Any kind of resistance or protest could. The alternative is just to keep quiet and let the fascists do what they want and hope they don't notice you. But they will in the end anyway.

Maybe there are more anonymous ways of pushing back, but I don't think anything will stay anonymous for long when they have all the apparatus they have. So I would say it's better to do whatever we can, even if it's just a dumb petition today, and do something else tomorrow, and make it as difficult as possible for these people to do what they want to do.

I see making meme petitions is the new flavour of the month.
