[Bug] Saving a post edit triggers server error; After the server error, last feed (ie All) is blank and requires manual refresh. (lemmy.ca)

I am going to edit this post and get some screenshots. (Done)

Note: Backing out of this post, after navigating to this post, via my profile, triggered the "blank feed" issue again. (See blank screenshot in comments.)

Testing for a second edit of this post that should generate an error, so I can get a screenshot. Third edit. Of course it's not going to do this on demand. Fourth?

Seems this is an instance issue.

my home instance is lemmy.ca
i navigate to a post in my profile and begin an edit
after an edit on a post on lemmy.world.
after backing out of error and then my profile page, back to home feed.

Just to add, this occurs only if the poster's home instance and instance of the post is a mismatch. When I made an edit on a Lemmy.ca instance, it went through fine. It's only after I submitted an edit to a post on Lemmy.world that I was able to reproduce the reported bug.

EDIT: Tested and confirmed it's also an issue with Lemmy.ml, so it's not with Lemmy.world.

I know .world is notorious for running older Lemmy versions. Not sure if .ml does the same. Dunno if that is the commonality with this particular issue.

Are you getting the blank home feed as well? That is new, but seems to be related to the edit/refresh errors I have always gotten with Connect. (It really seems like the edit error is server side and was going to wait a few more Lemmy versions before "formally" reporting it here.)

I'm not getting the home feed problem. It loads up fine after I go back twice on the error.
