The thumbnail totally looks like the back of someone with long hairs head. I assumed it was a picture of someone taking a picture of a whale. :)
Is the brown stuff at the bottom part of its body or is it a growth or plant of some sorts?
On the fin? Looks like gooseneck barnacles. Apparently that's a thing.
