The freebies haven't even been worth the trouble for a long time

I wouldn’t have found “Dredge” without it, so I’m grateful. I’d had a hankering for a fishing game for years and it was finally sated by that little ditty
I also recommended 'Dave the diver', had a jolly good time with it.
That’s interesting, I’ve never seen a spear fishing game with such cute graphics. I’ll give it a look!
Damn, I missed it. I thought I caught every freebie during the last year.
Tim has to pay out of pocket, for every license we claim, so i'll continue claiming them out of spite
The Jurassic Park one this week is the worst one I have seen.
There have been a few i was genuinely excited for but I've also been collecting them regularly so there's a lot I've never played and probably won't ever play plus fun ones I enjoyed
I tried to make a Blizzard account recently, just for testing purposes. Literally could not do it. Spent half an hour trying to complete weird math quizzes, at the end of which it would just fail. Gave up.
I had to spend a few months somewhere with no internet connection. I brought my laptop so I can play games once I really got bored. One month in I try to open the Epic Games launcher it demands that I connect to the internet to give me access to my games. I couldn't play any of the games on the Epic Games launcher, while Steam just worked offline the entire time.
I don't even have the Epic Games launcher on my computer now.
Pro-tip: You can just open the exe file to play your installed games
Now please do 50 captchas.
Every single time I launch Steam to just play some quick game it updates the whole Steam thing.
What I love most is call of duty needed 50gb download every other week because fuck you, you ain't playing tonight
Goddamn that's painful. Even a small download so often would annoy me
Lol meanwhile I have to email support to get into discord because their emails never come in.
"Oh no, we're not the top choice for games!"
My kids: we have some time, can we play domething?
I (remembering which games have coop): (opening Epic - nope - opening steam - looking for a game - ...)
Wait, why? Mine stays logged in. It's been logged in for years straight. What causes it to log out all the time for other people?
Do you use it a lot? Or does it auto-run on startup?
I might open the app maybe once or twice a month, and it frequently asks for credentials.
Ah, it does auto log-in at start up, so I guess that. Otherwise, it does just sit there passively. It probably ties up a couple megs of ram or something. Sounds worth it if the alternative is that annoying.
I am on Linux so I use Heroic which opens it in an intternal browser I think, but I've never had problems with staying logged in.
