I personally know one lady in her 70s that absolutely will be destroyed if she doesn’t get her check. She lives “paycheck to paycheck” and the only check she gets is Social Security. This makes me sick.

[–] [email protected] 7 points 11 hours ago

If my boss failed to give me a paycheck, there would be two followups. The polite followup where I presume there was a mistake, and the not polite followup where I presume there was not. Guy doesn't want 70 million not polite followups. He is not ready for that kind of bipartisan smoke.

Like a witch trial? If she drowns, she was innocent, if she floats, she is a witch and must be burned.

“Anybody who’s been in the payment system and the processes, who knows the easiest way to find the fraudster is to stop payments and listen, because whoever screams is the one stealing,” he said.

Holy fucking crap! He's going to intentionally cut legitimate payments to millions of retirees and disabled people, and his criteria for finding fraud are the people that cry out first?! What kind of bullshit is that?!

“Because my mother-in-law’s not calling, come on, your mother, 80-year-olds, 90-year-olds, they trust the government.”

Howard, your mom isn't calling in because she died in 1978. Source: Obituary in the New York times from Feb. 21, 1978

Your mother-in-law, Geri, likely inherited a healthy sum from her husband's company (which he got from his father) which allowed her husband to have two country club memberships for golf and a comfortable lifestyle of booze and travel, before he died in 2022:

"Joel was an avid golfer and an active member of Wycliffe Golf & Country Club and Edgewood Country Club. He loved to make others laugh with his dry wit, and enjoyed dining out, travel, wine, and dirty martinis, and he did it all with his beautiful bride "Gedgy" by his side." Source: father in law obituary

Howard, your mother-in-law likely doesn't depend on social a meager Social Security payment for her housing, food, and needed healthcare. Millions of other American senior citizens aren't nearly as lucky you ghoul.

receipts! thank you.

the proletariat is too overworked, distracted and disinterested. there will be much pain.

If you scream, you're a fraudster and don't deserve the money; if you don't scream, we won't know about it to reinstate it and you probably didn't need it anyway. Either way, we win!

I swear, this sounds like dunking witches 'logic' ....

If my SSDI payment doesn’t show up you can bet I will raise hell. It’s going to possibly mess up my Medicaid and Medicare. And if it’s a long term issue my HUD housing.

FAFO and shit’s going to get ugly quick. Well, as quick as my disabled ass can move

[–] [email protected] 21 points 17 hours ago (3 children)

That's my money, that I paid into the system for many years. Keeping it amounts to theft.

If they stop sending SS check, they will create a demographic of very angry old people with nothing to lose. Many have guns and military training. They will absolutely fight back.

They just built a new SS facility near my house. The first month that my check doesnt show up, I know that several thousand of my friends will show up there, and that office will be destroyed.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 5 hours ago

You sure that facility is going to be staffed? They're cutting the SS admin staff to barebones and closing the offices so that people can't complain. They don't want to hear you, they don't care about you. As far as Musk and Trump are concerned, they already have your money, it's just how to funnel it into their bank account instead of yours. There's no way to stop them plundering the entire SS fund, no one in government was relying on that money for themselves anyway.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 7 hours ago* (last edited 7 hours ago) (1 children)

You might be right in spirit, and of course I agree with the general sentiment, but technically no, that's not your money anymore and it would not be theft. That's not how taxation works.

When you pay SS payroll tax, you're not putting money into a retirement account.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 6 hours ago (1 children)

Perhaps, but does represent an agreement with the government that they will take a portion of your, and your employer's money each year, and when you reach the right age, they will write a check every month.

They can't unilaterally choose to stop honoring their side of the agreement based on the ignorant and illegal opinions of a Foreign Sociopathic Oligarch and the most prolific traitor in American history.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 5 hours ago (1 children)

They can and they will destroy it. There's nothing to stop them.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 5 hours ago

There are a number of strategies to stop them, but America isn't ready to employ them yet, but at some point we will. All my life, I hoped I would never have to say this, but it is almost certainly going to take some serious violence to stop the MAGA Nazis. Nobody alive has ever seen that in this country, so it will take a while for America to come to terms with that option.

[–] [email protected] 13 points 16 hours ago (1 children)

And they will use that and an excuse for martial law.

One way or another it’s going to get really bad, really soon.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 14 hours ago

They'll find their excuse one way or another. They aren't above using some variation of the False Flag Attack. If the resistance won't get violent, they'll send in goons to instigate violence, then send in armed authorities to use superior violence to quell the violence.

The definition of absurdity

[–] [email protected] 19 points 18 hours ago

The amount of "WHAT THE FUCK?" in this article is astounding even for the GOP. I can't even begin to quantify the amount of holier-than-thou, victim blaming, out-of-touch, clueless, cruel bullshit involved. He is seriously saying that the elderly and disabled are basically second-class citizens. I can't even begin to describe the level of cruelty in this article.

[–] [email protected] 14 points 17 hours ago

Fuck this crooked fucking fuck. I hope his Tesla stock goes to ZERO 📉🔥

[–] [email protected] 12 points 17 hours ago* (last edited 17 hours ago)

The disrespect is palpable. From the same admin that demands thank yous for support they don't give comes, "Jump through the fucking hoop or die, Howard."

All I'm saying is once they're out of office, whether from having their skulls caved in, a noose around their necks, a democratic election, or dying comfortably of old age surrounded by their families rubbing their hands greedily thinking about the ill-gotten gains, the sane-washers need to suffer the same fate.

[–] [email protected] 13 points 17 hours ago* (last edited 16 hours ago) (1 children)

He's saying to do an IT "scream test" on elderly, disabled, and vulnerable Americans dependent on support from the system they paid into their entire lives!? Sure, I bet 92 year-old Mable will be able to navigate the websites you haven't yet deleted out of DEI panic to talk to a legally-rehired person who can find someone to give them access to the personal data DOGE hasn't yet hoovered up and moved.

I won't break any rules, but people this heartless, this hateful, this inhuman and psychotic will face justice, in this world or the next...

[–] [email protected] 6 points 17 hours ago (1 children)

Scream test.

And if you scream, you're a cheating welfare queen fraudster.

It's going to be a lot of fun in those rural counties of this jackass actually follows through with this.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 16 hours ago (1 children)

Thank you! I didn't notice the autocorrect...

[–] [email protected] 2 points 6 hours ago

Yeah, swiping and autocorrect get me way too many times too.
