No idea, it was random. I even looked through my comments to see any deleted content from reddit. I guess I was site wide banned for saying a killer is less dangerous if he only kills child predators. It was to an article about a man killing his cell mate for sexually abusing a kid. People in the comments praised him for it but other users had to remind them he is in prison for killing other people. I said he would be less dangerous if he had only killed child predators. That got me lot of upvotes. I couldn't find this comment of mine so I assumed reddit removed it.

I also said another time how a kid had to die for the mom to finally get help from the state. The kid froze to death when the mom was homeless with her kids living in the car. Then the state of Michigan grants her a house when that should have happened before one of her kids froze to death. Obviously redditers knew what I meant because they upvoted it. I wasn't citing violence for kids to die for parents to get assistance from the state. Yet reddit never alerted me so I could appeal it. There is nothing in my messages about what content of mine violated their sitewide rules which makes me think it was done by AI than by a human.

I guess this was citing violence against a group of people. :/

I commented on a post about musk tasking spez with censorship that we should throw musk and his friends into an emerald mine.

They didn't tell me. They just made it so that leaving a comment doesn't work anywhere in any subreddit. "Empty response from endpoint." Website has a different useless error message.

I commented on something I disagreed with on R/conservative and R/interestingasfuck banned me for interacting in that sub Reddit.

I dared to suggest that Luigi had the right idea, and that we needed more such patriots. Also that he was perhaps not guilty. Reddit mods are absolute MAGASs. And if you suggest that, they will ban you. My ban is permanent, because I may have interrupted their marathon Trump-inspired masterbation sessions. Fuck them.

I said “trans women are women” and got my 10+ year old account permabanned for “inciting violence”.

I was banned from a subreddit for expressing positive feelings about Luigi Mangioni.

..But that was on Reddit, and it’s why I’m here now.

I posted a Mario kart pic and referenced the ceo killer Luigi. I got a 3 day ban, but they then perma banned me 5 hours later saying I bypassed thier ban. I didn't as I was asleep, but whatever ... it all worked out.

It was my bad, but an honest mistake. I had two accounts. there were two subreddits: r/meme and r/memes. One doesn't want you to put the same meme on both (technically says something like: if you post somewhere else don't post the same thing here), at least a few months ago that is what the rules were. I am new to making memes so I made one on Canva to see if it would be generally accepted by the community and whether my ideas/jokes were even funny. I posted on one of them idk I cannot remember which. And forgot about that rule, which is debatably absurd to begin with but that isn't the absurd reason. (They did give me a 28 day ban for this, which is the absolute only thing I have ever done wrong on Reddit after a several years old account. While karma doesn't mean anything it still took effort to get it, lol, not that it matters)

They banned me from one, and I was continuing to post on the other subreddit. Mind you I am now on my other account, because I am a little ticked off (not because I was temp banned from the subreddit,but that a rule I didn't think of, and a little ridiculous is there, no warning, nothing)

Long story short, a few weeks later on that alternative account, I forgot about the whole thing, and didn't realize I commented on the wrong subreddit--the one I was banned on the other account on. This is how I accidentally circumvented a ban and got perma banned on only my alt account, temp banned on the other for a week. After that I deleted all my accounts (I had 5, the reason was not to break rules or anything bad rather one was for art, one for music, one for general social stuff etc)

Better on Lemmy anyway.

Oh I can help, as this is why I'm here on Lemmy now after 12 years (happened last week).

1. My username. No, seriously I tried to join r/ElonMusk and they banned me.
2. Then I switched to my normal (*non-troll killer) account, and got banned.
3. They said I was evading my ban from another account?
4. I was informed I had a week long ban, immediately deleted my main account and told them to pound Russian sand.

I have no idea other than I use a VPN. I mostly scroll, occasionally reply/comment and rarely post. I don't spam, use bots or APIs. I received no email nor explanation. Just can't login permanently, and it's not a credentials issue. Fuck Reddit.

I called a very young and immature mod on a rollerskating forum a butthead because when I nicely said I thought inline skating should be an allowed topic in the forum, she rudely replied, in periods, as though she.was.clapping.in.my.face. I told her I hope she enjoys her failed community. I’m pretty sure she made it sound like I threatened her rather than predicted that her rigid rules would cause the sub to decline. I got permanently banned on my 10+ years account for having been reprimanded before during the pandemic.

The other time I got in temped banned, someone posted that Trump had Covid back in the pandemic, and I said I hoped Trump got what he deserved. They said it was a death threat.

I’ve been harassed unprovoked -usually by MAGA, and no one ever got in trouble. I got rid of my Reddit yesterday- banned earlier in the week.

Reddit is being run like a middle school clique. I’m fully done with it. It’s garbage now.

temp banned for "report abuse, basically reporting 1 too many times especially if there is a violation, or if the mods do not like your report you get banned". and then because reddit is going through a purge all my accounts were hit. when before the usual bans, just means you should avoid that sub, but reddit just decided to find all of your acc and ban them, this happen to others too. this all happened on FEB 13, and i was shocked it also happened to tons of other people too, when i visited another forum. this whole purge thing going on was reddit telling they are clearing the site to be sold soon. Just think about PORNHUB, they just sanitized the site.

it seems with introduction of anti-luigi bans, it has gotten worst, and now any support/implication of "violence" is bannable, cant criticize right wingers or israel now.

it was 2 years ago but I got perma banned for saying some trump's cult members are mouth breathing rednecks. Or at least I think that was the case all I was told was my account was banned for violating the "rules". I appealed by asking what rules I violated - the canned response was "we reviewed your appeal and are holding up our ban of your account."

Haven't been back to the site since and don't miss it.
