Coincidentally(?), today Humble launched a bundle that includes both Pillars of Eternity games.

I was going to start PoE on Game Pass soon, but I think real-time with pause was what turned me off of Baldur's Gate 1 back in the day, so I guess I'll wait for the patch.

While I do prefer turn-based, I played through Pillars 1 last year, and with the tons of options for auto-pause it wasn't really that bad. BGEE was also fine, and my problems with the game wasn't RTwP.

Groovy! This is on my list for next winter and I've always enjoyed turn based more than real time for rpgs.
