Swipe gesture actions don't work in the inbox view. I often find myself instinctively swiping to Upvote and/or reply on comments in my inbox, but it doesn't work unless you click through to open the comment thread. Would be convenient to have them work right there in the inbox.
Automatically hide the default banner from the header of Subscribed, Local and All feeds. It's nice to have the Post View Header setting on for communities, but the home page feeds doesn't have banners so it's just clutter. Possibly also automatically hide the banner and/or icon for communities that doesn't have a custom one set?
Option to have left-to-right swipe act as "back" button on all screens, including menus. Would help using the phone one handed.
Option to have "Confirm exit or save draft" dialogue pop up when exiting a post/comment you've typed in but not sent. More convenient than manually saving drafts, doesn't automatically clutter your saved drafts like auto-saving does and still works as a safeguard against accidentally losing long unsent posts.
View "Remote Local" function - ie what the Local page looks like on an instance other than your home, but without changing accounts. Good for finding new active communities, especially on smaller instances.

~~Remote instance community browser. Basically just a list of all the communities on a given instance that you can click through. Another good way of finding new communities.~~ EDIT: I found this is already possible. Maybe make it more visible? I don't know.

The header was designed with the intention of the banner always being visible. The best I can do is hide it but it will still need to take up space for layout reasons. Will probably table this request since it's very minor and there isn't a clear solution.

Discussed this before but IMO you should use gesture navigation.

This is currently possible via the "guest account" feature. It is a bit troublesome to use since it requires you to switch to a guest account. I can't think of a great solution on the top of my head. If I allow users to switch instances with a single tap, I'm 99.99% sure I'm going to get bug reports along the lines of "why did I get logged out" etc. The guest account solution introduces a clear explanation for this. Need to think about this more...

Also I edited the post because I eventually found the community browser, I hadn't when I made the post.

I do miss having "View Instance Info" as an option in the "More Info" three dots on a user's comment/post. It helps getting to the instance community browser faster and easier too.

I'm trying to learn gesture navigation but swiping from the right to go back kind of breaks my brain a little hah 😅 I hope I get used to it eventually.

The Remote Local thing I don't know how Sync did it but it was just a button on top of the feed that brought up a menu with Instances to pick from. It was all very seamless and involved no logging in or out.

I tested the instance picker just now. Sync seems to keep a special state just for remote instances. It's not too difficult to achieve but it's not the most intuitive thing since you get an error if you try to interact with anything and it may not be obvious to the user why. Technically all i would need to do to support the feature is just auto switch the user to the guest account in a new screen. I just think it will be confusing.

I don't get an error, only a popup asking if I want to view it from my local account. And only if I interact with the post from the list, opening it automatically switches to the local account.
