People in Lemmy ๐Ÿ˜  prevented me from using hashtags #๏ธโƒฃ in my Lemmy posts, as well as emojis ๐Ÿ˜‚. This is not fair ๐Ÿ˜ก because this is social media ๐ŸŽ‰, not Rt ๐Ÿคฎ. Rt is capitalist ๐Ÿ’ฐ. Lemmy is interconnected ๐Ÿ”— with multiple servers. I am stressed ๐Ÿ˜ฉ being on Lemmy because the diversity and variety of each Lemmy user's traits and preferences are not respected ๐Ÿค”. Although no one on Lemmy likes me for who I am ๐Ÿ’”, I will continue to use hashtags #๏ธโƒฃ and emojis ๐Ÿ˜‚ in my Lemmy posts ๐Ÿ’ช. I am not the product ๐Ÿญ of the Lemmy community. I am a separate human being ๐Ÿงโ€โ™€๏ธ, and my handle is @kaerypheur on lemmy.world ๐ŸŒ. #Lemmy #Fediverse #HashtagBan #EmojiRights #FreeExpression #NotYourProduct #kaerypheur #LemmyWorld #FediverseFreedom #NoCensorship #SocialMediaMyWay #DecentralizedButDivided #YouDontOwnMe #PlatformProblems #RespectMyStyle #HumanNotAlgorithm #FediBlock #FediverseStress #RebelPosting #StayWeird

๐ŸคŸI like you for who you are.

I rarely use them myself, but I find emojis linguistically fascinating. There's a lot of subtleties with sarcastic, ironic, or symbolic emojis, as well as different subcultures that use them differently.

You might want to check out mbin or piefed. They both handle hashtags better than lemmy, which mostly just ignores hashtags other than the community name.
