Please call your member in the House of Representatives and ask why they aren't already listed as supporting Trump's long overdue articles of impeachment that were introduced on Monday. It's already Wednesday.

Spineless Dems are nothing new, but wow are we feeling it now.

They're all scared. Republicans and Democrats, both of them are scared. But you know what? They aren't scared enough. The rest of the country and the people they are supposed to represent are scared about their safety, rights, retirement, medical care, disaster relief, buying food, businesses, livelihoods, and family members or themselves being deported or exiled from the country. They'd throw everyone under the bus just to have 5 more minutes of being in their seats. And when worse comes to worst, they'd throw everyone under the bus for 5 more minutes of not being exiled or disposed of themselves. They're only delaying the inevitable. Bullies don't become friends with the people they bully just because they were nice to them. They will only use it as a go-ahead to make it even worse.

It's not just their jobs they're worried about; politicians who oppose Trump have been getting a lot of death threats and such lately.

In order for them to stand up to Trump, they need to become more scared of the rest of us than they are of stochastic terrorist MAGAs.

If they had done their fucking jobs last year they wouldn't have this problem

You misunderstand my purpose. I didn't write that to try to excuse their behavior; I wrote it to explain how to force them to change it.

It needs to be demonstrated to them that collaborating with fascists is more personally dangerous to them than resisting is.

That's why that Parkland dude's warning/suggestion of primary-ing do-nothing Democrats is being met with such vitriol by Dems. That's what needs to happen. They need to fear losing whatever power the may have right now. We need to primary every Democrat that gave the thumbs up to tRump's cabinet picks and a middle finger to the rest of us.

That's still not the kind of fear I'm talking about, but sure, that too.

And I definitely get that. But at the same time they are all individually scared of the same thing yet they don't work together and do something about this.

To be fair, only 9 Republicans even said no to impeachment, so the always MAGA crowd aren't even answering this question.

Stuff like this could be played very close to the chest for fear of early retaliation.

Still, call your reps and voice your opinion.

I just called mine.

Four hundred no-comment answers there my dude, and considerably more yes than no. We need to operate under the assumption that Congress won't save us, but this doesn't mean they won't. That many Republicans not saying no either means the question didn't reach many of them, or Trump's actually in deep shit.

Wild you guys don't get it. Trump's evil benefits them, why would they try to stop it? They're your "representatives" only in name.
