Remember when you needed proof to say stuff and have people believe you? Nowadays you can say whatever the fuck you want with fake numbers and straight up lies and people will believe you if you have any kind of charisma or authority.

The only thing that will surprise me is if it doesn't pass. The problem is that democrats have been trying to convince republicans by appealing to their sense of dignity and their conscience when they have neither. What they should be doing is telling them how it will affect them financially and politically.

Just in case you forgot, getting rid of video games is part of Project 2025. Republicans have had a vendetta against them since Mortal Kombat came out in the arcades back in the 90s. And in some ways they have been against them since their very inception with Pong and Tetris.

I'm so tired of hearing this man say "billions of dollars" over and over again with absolutely nothing to back it up and people just going like "yeah, totally. Billions of dollars."

What's next? Helping Russia in their wars? I hope it was fucking worth it to "own the libs."

So basically, they are saying "we invested a fuck ton of money into this so you better fucking use it."

Most of them are in denial. Every time I bring it up to my friends they're all like "yeah, but they won't come after me."

For the ones that are bloodthirsty, absolutely. But with how pissed off people are right now I don't expect us to just go quietly into the night as they start shooting people. And I don't think they are ready for those consequences.

These guys are so ready to jump on this that I think they are forgetting to actually think about what they are saying. I don't think they are ready for what could happen if they try to deport this man. They would just create a martyr.

His whole way of making points is vague on purpose. It's always somewhere else or in the future. That way you can't fact check him, and if you do his followers can just go full into denialism and just say "well, but it's probably not where you live."
