I used to use Boost for Reddit and one of my favorite features was the custom Feeds.

Is there any plans to bring those back? Or am I just missing it?

Yeah, first thing I noticed missing here. It would be nice to be able to read news posts, than what it down with games, music and humor.

Having then mixed together kinda blows.

that's just to say it is possible to do this on Lemmy

but app developers have to program it themselves, the Lemmy backend currently doesn't have this feature like Reddit does

Yeah it'll probably work differently so Ruben will have to completely refactor it. Seems like a hassle.

Lemmy developers are currently working on it to become a core feature afaik
