Welcome to the discussion of US Politics!

Rules:

  1. Post only links to articles, Title must fairly describe link contents. If your title differs from the site’s, it should only be to add context or be more descriptive. Do not post entire articles in the body or in the comments.

Links must be to the original source, not an aggregator like Google Amp, MSN, or Yahoo.

Example:

  1. Articles must be relevant to politics. Links must be to quality and original content. Articles should be worth reading. Clickbait, stub articles, and rehosted or stolen content are not allowed. Check your source for Reliability and Bias here.
  2. Be civil, No violations of TOS. It’s OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It’s NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
  3. No memes, trolling, or low-effort comments. Reposts, misinformation, off-topic, trolling, or offensive. Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Report them, block them, and live a happier life than they do. We see too many slapfights that boil down to "Mom! He's bugging me!" and "I'm not touching you!" Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
  4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.
  5. No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning

We ask that the users report any comment or post that violate the rules, to use critical thinking when reading, posting or commenting. Users that post off-topic spam, advocate violence, have multiple comments or posts removed, weaponize reports or violate the code of conduct will be banned.

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

That's all the rules!

Oh yeah, well, the Democrats call for Trump to be removed for calling for Democrats to be removed.

I think I've seen this before and I know the solution. Time to use the "Bugs Bunny Maneuver".

Impeach Trump.

Impeach Democrats.

Impeach Trump.

Impeach Democrats.

Impeach Democrats.

Impeach Trump.

Gottem.

Let’s just impeach everyone and start over.

Is this supposed to be some kind of black hole generating statement? It's so circular my brain can't compute, and is likely to collapse into an infinitely dense mass of recursive calls for removal, known as a black hole.

Why it's so simple!!

  1. The Democrats call for Trump to be removed.
  2. Trump calls for the Democrats to be removed for calling for Trump to be removed.
  3. The Democrats call for Trump to be removed for calling the Democrats to be removed for calling for Trump to be removed.

If that's confusing, here's another explanation: https://lemm.ee/post/62907212/20135347

So they are finally making a sequel to Primer?

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 day ago

They already will have did.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 2 days ago

Ohhh boy, I think we discovered perpetual infinite energy!

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 days ago

It is actually not that dense when it is larger. The observable universe weighs 10^53 kg, which would make its schwarzachild radius about 1.5x10^26 m. The radius of the observable universe is 8x10^26. A density of about 10^-23 kg/m³.

[–] [email protected] 42 points 2 days ago (1 children)

[–] [email protected] 25 points 2 days ago (2 children)

The dictator doesn't get removed, he removes.

[–] [email protected] 17 points 1 day ago

No dictators in America.

Only traitors who want to be dictators.

And it's up the people to decide what they want.

Mussolini has entered the chat...

What a damn cry baby. Grow the fuck up or in your words “man up”, what a dumb fuck.

[–] [email protected] 18 points 2 days ago

He's not a crybaby. He's trying to make dissent illegal in preparation for a fascist takeover of the government.

[–] [email protected] 17 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Literally always crying, I have no idea how anyone in maga views Trump as a “strong man.” The idea is laughable.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 2 days ago* (last edited 2 days ago)

Come on you don't find posting "VLADIMIR, STOP!" on a Sam's club Twitter ripoff to be strong, bigly man behavior?

[–] [email protected] 21 points 2 days ago

He is a little bitch.

[–] [email protected] 28 points 2 days ago

Dictators gonna purge.

[–] [email protected] 56 points 2 days ago

"You can't fire me! I quit!"

Sorry, I meant:

"I'll persecute you for prosecuting me!"

[–] [email protected] 32 points 2 days ago

"…some of which they argue are undermining democratic norms."

That there is known as a "load-bearing clause," and Newsweek should know better than to put it under such heavy strain. The entire article is likely to collapse—much like the media's collective spine—if it gives way.

[–] [email protected] 7 points 2 days ago

Ah yes. The "I'm rubber; you're glue" gambit. It's a move seen only occasionally outside of kindergarten classrooms.
