Welcome back! Had any interesting (or uninteresting) cubing exploits recently?

[–] [email protected] 2 points 2 months ago

Not really. After not picking the cube up in a while I think I solved it and that made me kinda happy

Should I know who this person is?

Yes/no. Sub-Zero is a character in the famous video games Mortal Kombat (see here on Wikipedia).
I'm disappointed, my pseudo-joke doesn't work 😢

No worries, always happy to see new posts here, and I appreciate the joke now that I understand it :)

I think that [email protected] and [email protected] are still just a bit too small to have sufficient overlap.

Tangentially, it looks like the mod of [email protected] is inactive. Might you consider requesting it? If you are uncomfortable with ML, you could potentially consolidate it with [email protected].

Sorry, abbreviation for lemmy.ml.

Ok. I never heard this before :)

About your suggestions, I'm not a fan of Mortal Kombat. I only used the character for the pun. And regarding consolidation, I didn't quite understand (probably because of my level in English).

Is solving a cube in negative time equivalent to scrambling a cube in positive time? If so, I think sub-0 cubers are pretty common...

I think it's the equivalent of knowing the solution before the scramble even happens, so no I don't think so.
