Intelligence is knowing frankenstein's "monster" wasnt frankenstein. Wisdom is knowing that frankenstein was the monster.

Intellect is knowing "the monster" was essentially the doctor's child and would share his last name.

I feel like Adam Frankenstein would have changed his last name at the first chance. He didn't have a great relationship with his father.

And when the sequels address his legal name change we can reopen the issue!

The "doctor" was a monster.

The monster was a Frankenstein.

Not true. Technically the monster already had a last name as it was someone reanimated and they would've already had a last name. We were just never told what that name was.

Which of the 7 men names you take?

[–] [email protected] 3 points 2 years ago

Ask ChatGPT to mix them together

This needs to be cross-stitched somewhere

[–] [email protected] 10 points 2 years ago

Knowledge is knowing that this needs to be cross-stitched somewhere. Wisdom is knowing that somewhere it is cross-stitched .

I mean, Frankenstein was a self-centred, shortsighted coward who refused to take responsibility for his actions, but he wasn't a cold-blooded murderer. The monster was.

IF he doctors name is Dr Frankenstein

AND Frankenstein's monster is essentially Dr. Frankenstein's son

THEN Frankenstein's Monster's last name is Frankenstein and is therefore technically named "Frankenstein"

Does the monster have its own last name? Otherwise calling it Frankenstein may not be wrong.

In the story, he wants to go by Adam. But it's unclear what his last name would be.

It's a bit dubious to call Victor his father

Wouldn't it be "Adam von Frakenstein" or "Adam Frankenstein" since Frakenstein did create him

It's a bit dubious to call Victor his father

Why's that?

[–] [email protected] 4 points 2 years ago (2 children)

Because Victor is his creator, not his father.

Different words meanings and stuff. Nothing really important though.

Don't fathers technically play a part in a dual role of creating the child by providing genetic material while the mother provides another half

The mothers body does the work of creating the baby from genetic instructions from the mother and father
