The way the American government feels like satire makes it difficult for life to feel real right now. It’s like I’m living in a political stoner movie.

Imagine being a Latino who voted Trump…

[–] [email protected] 4 points 1 day ago

I've read a few ended up getting caught up in ICE's web.

Have the day you voted for!

Sad thing is from what I understand, Spanish language news commonly available in the US (Unavision I believe?) basically fed Latinos a straight up false version of the guy, the description I read sounded even less accurate than Fox.

The overwhelming effectiveness of widespread media manipulation is the real story (and human tragedy...) here.

the same way there were jews who supported Hitler, it didn't go well for them either.

I guess there are traitorous idiots in every ethnicity

And who defines what is and is not legal?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 day ago

Why not 8,230,938,482 meals?

I swear this country is being run by immature, petty little children.

[–] [email protected] 7 points 1 day ago

Said children must be disciplined for bad behavior.

This is the second time today I've seen the right "joke" about feeding latin americans to alligators, I'm not Latin American, but I know enough about how the fucking poem goes to be a little scared.

Anyone else just like… sighing a lot these days?

[–] [email protected] 30 points 1 day ago (1 children)

I'm honestly beside myself.

Oh look! American Nazis on twitter. No surprise here. It’s their breeding ground.

The ancestors of the folks in this picture are now doing this shit to other people. The circle of life I suppose.

[–] [email protected] 24 points 1 day ago (1 children)

This feels a lot more like anti-semitism rather than anti-zionism. Not all Jews ended up in Palestine, or support Israel.

[–] [email protected] 4 points 1 day ago (1 children)

No one said all. And I wish it wasn’t true but it’s happening.

[–] [email protected] 17 points 1 day ago (1 children)

You specifically said the people in the photo, while not knowing that any of their descendants migrated to Israel. That's what made it anti-semetic bestie.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Ancestors doesn’t imply direct lineage through birth but no worries. They could also be Romani peoples that were also ravaged by the Nazis.

But of course, understand it so it suits you because_everything_ is antisemitism. What a terrible way to dilute an important tool for taking care of people.

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 day ago (1 children)

I'm just using the actual definition of ancestor, which absolutely implies direct heritage:

[–] [email protected] 1 points 19 hours ago

Ok, appreciate the support. I didn’t imply that but the definition is clear. Thanks for that.

AI slop is so fitting for them. Soulless

[–] [email protected] 31 points 1 day ago

Guys, this Animal Farm sequel sucks ass

[–] [email protected] 33 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Glad to see they raised the IQ requirements for new ice agents.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 1 day ago

Gators are also less racist

[–] [email protected] 36 points 1 day ago

You know it's fake because the faces are showing

[–] [email protected] 34 points 1 day ago

They are unironically attempting to murder us with cringe

[–] [email protected] 14 points 1 day ago

Not even the Nazis openly joked about ovens.

[–] [email protected] 11 points 1 day ago

Being super cringy is a cornerstone of fascist cruelty.

[–] [email protected] 9 points 1 day ago

I’d pay good money to watch an ice agent try to put a hat on a alligator.

[–] [email protected] 6 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago)

Dunno about that. Most reptiles I've seen don't really give a damn about ephemeral human concepts like "borders". Now, they can be territorial but it's usually in the sense of "you go there and I go here and we'll be fine OK? OK." Just neighborly behavior really.

[–] [email protected] 12 points 1 day ago

Alligator Auschwitz.

[–] [email protected] 5 points 1 day ago

if an alligator bites u, punch the nose and gouge the eyes and run when they losen their grip

[–] [email protected] 7 points 1 day ago

Why not. They have the budget to train alligators. Hell, they have the budget to mutate alligators into humanoids.

[–] [email protected] 8 points 1 day ago

The account has became cringeworthy at the beginning of the year.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 day ago

there are crocodiles in florida too.
