Suppressors are literally a hearing safety device and noise pollution inhibitor. To respond with a comment like this is baffling.

You still have to go through the ATF permitting process, this just strips out the arbitrary cost that was stuck in the original NFA.
You're not wrong, but the original NFA supreme court ruling deemed the NFA constitutional because it is a tax. That argument doesn't hold water if the tax is $0
This has fair odds of upending a significant portion of the NFA, particularly with this incredibly manipulated SC
