I've had one for years and not once thought about putting a carbonated drink in it. We really need to bring Darwinism back.

Everyone hates on China for their social credits system, but without darwinism (which literally means death or the inability to procreate), it's the only way complete morons and the totally incorigible could see justice without imprisonment in a modern society.

... Yes I know China has some absolutely braindead and totalitarian rules around those credits, but it doesn't mean the system itself is a terrible idea.

Note: The US DOES have a similar system that can unjustly fuck over people. It's called a Credit Score.

The credit score only fucks poor people. The rich only benefit from paying less which they don't even need.

If the general public understood how much money the rich pull out of society, this would be a different world.

Two people suffered permanent vision loss after trying to open Ozark Trail stainless steel water bottles, according to a report Thursday from the Consumer Product Safety Commission. The lid of the Ozark Trail 64-ounce water bottle can “forcefully eject, posing serious impact and laceration hazards” as someone tries to open the containers when food, carbonated drinks or perishable drinks are kept in them for a period of time, the CPSC said.

Kinda wish we could see a demonstration. This sounds both terrifying and fascinating. Wonder what caused it.

People not using a water bottle as a water bottle.

Carbonated water is water

[–] [email protected] 1 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Yes, but water bottles break their seal before they're done being threaded off..
