It's basically an overkill for 1080p. 6700xt is great if you are going for 1440p 144hz soon, but if you plan on staying on 1080p, you'll get very much same result with a 6600xt or plain 6700.

I've been using a 6700XT paired with a 5800X3D for the past few months and it's been an absolute monster at 1080p 144hz. Highly recommend it!
Only issue I've had is a bit of coil whine, but it's inconsistent and I don't notice it with my headphones on.
