Yay. More generic unoriginal games with procedurally generated huge open worlds that all look the same and bad quests / dialogues that just exist for the sake of existing.

At least, if you put too much money into one, there's a threshold between those being financially successful or not, so if they flood the market, they will also leave a bunch of dead studios in their wake while good games thrive.

Oh, what's the threshold?

It's called Ubisoft.

There's not enough space for two of them. So it's beat them or lose it.

Sometimes I wonder how fast adoption rates would actually be. There are tons of jobs out there that could be automated with simple code ten years ago.

If you job can be replaced by an AI, then your job was useless anyways.

I guess graphic artists and logo designers are useless now. Just let AI do all the art and design. Our lives aren't boring enough! /s

Have you ever tried communicating with a client who has zero idea what they want or how to express that? That’s why graphic designers will never be out of a job. They translate whatever they can coax out of the client into something they want.

Nope. Proper logo design and graphic arts cannot be replaced when exceeding a certain level or professionality and experience. Logo design and graphic arts are much more than just placing pixels at calculated positions.

People aren't being replaced by AI because the AI is as good or better than them, people are being replaced by AI because the AI is massively cheaper than them.

We're going to end up with shittier products so more profit can end up in shareholders' pockets
